We had ten students from Kadambari College Nepal, who visited RSET on 12th July 2017 (Sunday).  They were here for a Kerala visit and Rajagiri was a part of the visit. They were here to explore the possibilities of establishing a relationship with RSET and also to send their students to RSET for further studies/internships/ short term courses.

Ms. Minnu Paul, Asst. Director of International programs at Methodist University, USA visited RSET for exploring the collaboration options between RSET and Methodist. There was a session conducted by her to our final year students on “Way to strengthen the application for Master's program in the USA.” It was a fruitful session and many students benefited by the info she gave to them on the topic.

Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology conducted its course completion ceremony “Samavarthanam” for 2017 pass outs of B.Tech and M.Tech graduates. This event was marked with the presence and blessings of Rev. Fr. Jose Alex, Director, RSET. Dr. M Abdul Rahman, pro-vice chancellor, KTU was the Chief Guest of the function. 545 B.tech and 170 M.Tech students graduated from the college.

 

 

 

 

 

RSET organized the Annual Athletics Meet on 5 th and 6 th of May in the college ground. Many students participated and won prices in the various events that were conducted for them. The two days events were a success and wish more and more students participate in the events. The international students at RSET also actively participated in the events that helped them to refresh themselves. The staff also made their contribution in the games by participating in the games.

 

International students from RSET enjoyed their Easter vacations at Varkala beach. They got a chance to mingle with other foreign students of different universities, explore a few places in Trivandrum and a few other attractions in the nearby area like the malls and movies. They also got quite explorative and decided to try out one of the many aspects of Indian culture - travelling by the Indian Railways. They were very excited to explore the beauty of Kerala by watching the lush green forests during the journey in train.

Ms. Neringa Narbutiene, Head for the Department of Internationalization and other guests from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Lithuania visited RSET on 22 nd May 2017 . They were here as a part of establishing a new relationship with RSET to conduct various student exchange programmes. RSET is happy to associate and will work with them in the coming days

International students from Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology participated in the International student meet up on 30th and 31st of March 2017. They not only participated in the event but also gave performances during the cultural night on 30th and rocked the show with their awesome performance. They were very excited and happy to meet and make new friends of different countries who had gathered there as a part of this grand event.
