Training in the English language and communication skills receives priority in the RSET educational experience. Students are given practical and theoretical training in the language and communication theory in the first two years of the undergraduate programme, which is in addition to the university-prescribed course in communication skills. The RSET Language Lab, managed by the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities, provides language tutorials for students who voluntarily opt for Remedial English classes. The exercises give the students exposure to a variety of listening and speaking drills, helping them to overcome language deficiencies, and improve their command over the language. The college with its lush green campus and serene backdrop provides the ideal atmosphere for students. It is located in Cochin which is one of the best tourist destinations and an international hub. A city that is wide open to incorporate muti-linguistic cultures and the second largest city in the western cost of India also referred as Ernakulam. The engineering programmes offered in RSET is recognized universally and the college has tie ups with different universities across the globe. The college currently has students from nine different nationals pursuing their engineering education.
