Delegates from Japan recently visited Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) to explore potential industry partnerships. During their visit, the delegates met with RSET officials, took a comprehensive campus tour, and discussed opportunities for collaboration between Japanese industry leaders and RSET. The tour showcased RSET's state-of-the-art facilities and highlighted areas where industry-academic cooperation could drive innovation and research excellence.

Sixteen engineering students from iCam University, Paris, France, embarked on a educational journey to Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad, Kochi. Over two semesters spanning eight months, they immersed themselves in cross-cultural learning, engaging in live lectures and online classes, and delving into India's diverse landscapes to grasp societal needs firsthand. Their ultimate aim was to pioneer sustainable engineering solutions tailored to contemporary challenges. Their journey culminated in the construction of La Colombiere, a garden library on the Rajagiri Campus, financed and built by the students themselves. Surveying their counterparts at Rajagiri, they identified needs and requirements, discussing feasibility with the Civil Department. Upon their return from the Christmas Break, they divided responsibilities and constructed an octagonal garden library. While presently a stand-alone structure, future plans include full automation and solar-powered air conditioning, reflecting students’ commitment to innovation and sustainability.

In a significant stride towards fostering collaboration, the Flinders University delegation, including Mr. Brett Wagner, Mr. Sebastian Raneskold, and Professor Alistair Rendell, engaged in a crucial meeting with the academic leadership of RSET. This comprehensive session included Heads of Departments (HODs), the Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Deans, and the International Officer. The meeting served as a platform for constructive discussions, exchange of insights, and laying the groundwork for future academic partnerships. This convergence of key figures from both institutions not only solidified the collaborative spirit but also set the stage for a promising synergy in the realm of education.

In a significant step towards fostering future relations and collaboration, Vice Principal Dr. Fr. Jaison Paul Mulerikkal of RSET visited RMIT Vietnam 08/05/2024.

The visit aimed to explore and solidify potential collaborations between the two esteemed institutions. Dr. Fr. Jaison Paul Mulerikkal engaged in discussions with faculty members and administrators at RMIT Vietnam, delving into areas of mutual interest and opportunity.
