Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) is conducting a two-week workshop for international students from the 19 th of February to the 4 th of March, 2017. The workshop will focus on improving the participants’ communication skills in English and will include language development sessions and soft skills training.

The students will get an opportunity to visit the beautiful places in Kerala and explore South Indian culture through visits to historical and heritage sites.

Distinguished Lecture by Dr. R. Unnikrishnan, Professor at California State University, Fullerton tomorrow at 10am in multimedia hall on the topic “A random walk in Engineering Education”

 

 

RSET came up with a global initiative of keeping the campus clean by establishing a new venture named ‘Nature club’ with a vision of “Swachh Campus”. At RSET farmland, fertilizer free farming of various vegetables is carried on. Samuel Maoza, one among our International students from Africa, is pursuing his education in Electronics branch. He has been putting keen interest in the initiative. This is an initiative started and maintained by Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology. The students have sworn to keep up the aim of the nature club and thus bring a change in the city, and then the country. Other international students at Rajagiri are also actively participating in these activities with much enthusiasm and greater spirits.

Onam Celebration

The most celebrated festival of Keralites ONAM, was celebrated in the Rajagiri campus on 19th September. Students from every branch had their own attire which they followed uniformly making the campus very colorful on the day. The biggest attraction was that one among our International students was dressed up as our favorite “Mahabali” and another student as “Vamanan”.

The foreign students were taken for a one day tour after their first semester exams to rejuvenate themselves in natures lap. 8 students along with 2 faculty members and their hostel warden explored the scenic beauty of south India and tried some variety cuisines.
