ICAM France Students Complete Second Academic Program at RSET with Sustainable Engineering Innovations Twenty-seven students from ICAM, France, successfully completed their academic program as the second batch of ICAM students hosted at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET). This cohort pursued an intensive academic schedule, completing two semesters within a period of eight months. Their seniors, who formed the first batch, had previously completed the construction of an octagonal garden library as part of their project, having collaboratively divided responsibilities to bring the structure to completion. Building upon this foundation, the current batch focused on enhancing the project’s functionality and sustainability aspects. The students have developed and executed plans to make the entire building fully powered by solar energy, ensuring an eco-friendly and energy-efficient operation. In addition, the structure features a naturally designed air-conditioning system that maintains optimal indoor conditions without conventional power usage. These innovations demonstrate the students’ strong commitment to sustainability, creativity, and practical engineering application.
